Wannamaker is a 2 mile long freshwater lake on top of a mountain of Canadian Shield, located at one of the highest points of Ontario. Take a look at the pictures, and you will see we are at the same level as the clouds.

 

When it comes to cottage country, there are many lakes in Ontario that are heavily populated by people who surround the whole lake with cottage after cottage. This setting becomes more of a public neighbourhood, which pollutes the environment to the point where the natural setting can not be recognized. White Birch Haven offers you the priceless environment we all long for.

   

White Birch Haven Waterfront Cottage Resort is known for its environment. The land across our resort is called "crown" land which is owned and preserved by the government therefore no one will ever be able to build on this land. This assures that the view and serenity of our resort will never change.
